Vintage cloth-bound books in faded teal, ochre, rose and olive are stacked in leaning towers, their spines deliberately left blank. Pressed wildflowers grow up between the piles and a pair of tortoiseshell reading glasses rests on the tallest stack. The ground is a warm parchment, with oxblood handles.
