This design tips its hat to the great nineteenth-century pattern makers, who turned humble hedgerow plants into wallpapers and textiles that are still loved today. It feels timeless and a little bit grand. Carry it to a museum and it will look right at home.

The print

Twisting briar stems form a flowing trellis across a deep navy ground, dotted with open dog roses in coral, rose and cream and small orange rosehips. Each leaf is a crisp sage shape with a woodblock-print quality. Navy handles let the flowers take the spotlight.
